   How much is the taxi fare from Ajax to Pearson?

   Between $100 and $115, set by neighbourhood. Pickering Village and the west side ride for $100 — the shortest run in town. The Harwood corridor and everything around Ajax GO is $105. The waterfront streets and the Rossland/Ravenscroft area to the north are both $110, and Audley with the rest of the far northeast is $115. Whatever your zone, HST is in the figure and it reads the same on the way home from Pearson as it did on the way out — nobody recalculates it because your flight moved or the 401 jammed. The one optional extra: if you ask for the 407 ETR toll route, the toll is billed on top at cost.

   How long is the ride from Ajax to YYZ?

   Budget 45 to 55 minutes for most of town. The car reaches the 401 within about ten minutes from any Ajax neighbourhood, and the highway distance to Pearson is roughly 55 kilometres. What moves the number is the clock: a 4:30 AM departure can see Terminal 1 in under 45 minutes, while a 5 PM Friday pickup fighting the westbound crawl through Scarborough can stretch past 70. That rush-hour window is when requesting the optional 407 ETR route pays off — the toll goes on your fare, but it typically buys back 15 to 20 minutes. For afternoon flights we suggest padding your pickup by half an hour; overnight and weekend trips rarely need it.

   Is Pickering Village part of your coverage?

   It is — and at $100 it carries the lowest fare on our zone chart. The Village sits on Ajax's western edge along Kingston Road and Church Street, which puts it closest to Pearson of any neighbourhood we serve. Drivers usually slide down Church Street to Highway 401 at Westney and are westbound within minutes. Everything on the west bank of Duffins Creek that carries an Ajax address is included, from the heritage blocks near St. Francis Centre up to the newer streets off Rotherglen.

   What if my plane gets in late?

   The booking follows the aircraft, not the clock. We watch Pearson's arrival feed, so a delay out of your departure city quietly moves your pickup with it — you do not owe us a call from the tarmac. After wheels-down you have a full hour of included waiting, which absorbs customs queues, slow baggage belts, and the walk out. Should a cancellation or a rebooked flight blow past that hour, we text you and simply slot the car to the new arrival. There is no penalty and no second charge for any of this.

   Why book a flat-rate car instead of Uber or the GO train?

   Rideshare from Ajax to Pearson floats with demand — the same trip can price anywhere from $70 to $150, and 4 AM airport runs are exactly when surge multipliers and driver cancellations bite hardest. The transit option means Lakeshore East from Ajax GO to Union, a platform change with your suitcases, then the UP Express out to the airport: call it 100 minutes when every connection cooperates, which the first train of the morning often cannot do for early departures. A reserved car costs what it costs when you book it, leaves from your driveway at any hour, and puts you at the terminal door in about 50 minutes.

   Can I take the 407 instead of the 401?

   Yes — the 407 ETR is available on any trip, and it's your call, not ours. Mention it when you book (the notes field works, or just tell the driver) and the car runs north on Salem Road or Lakeridge Road to Taunton, joins Highway 412, and rides the 407 west above the city before dropping down the 427 into Pearson. Because the 407 is a toll road, the toll is charged on top of your flat fare at cost — we don't mark it up. It earns its price on weekday afternoons, when skipping the Scarborough stretch of the 401 commonly recovers 15 to 20 minutes; overnight and on weekends the free route is usually just as quick, so most riders skip it.
