Airport Taxi Ajax: one town, one airport, one price
Airport Taxi Ajax carries travellers between every Ajax neighbourhood — Pickering Village, the lakefront, the Harwood core, Audley — and Toronto Pearson (YYZ), for a zone fare of $100 to $115 that is settled in writing before the trip and identical in both directions. The service takes bookings around the clock, all year, and follows inbound flights so late landings never strand anyone.

The booking lands
A form submission from a house near Rossland and Harwood: two adults, three bags, Terminal 1, tomorrow's 6:05 AM to Vancouver. Within the hour the fare comes back in writing — $110 for the zone, nothing owed yet.

The car rolls out
The assigned driver — whose name and vehicle were texted the evening before — leaves early enough to be parked outside at 4:10, five minutes ahead of the agreed 4:15. The street stays quiet; the trunk is open before the porch light is.

Westney ramp, then west
At that hour the 401 is a private road. No 407 needed, no decisions to make — the car crosses the Rouge, clears Scarborough, and swings up the 427 while the passengers doze.

Level 3, Terminal 1
Curbside at the check-in doors, 47 minutes after the front porch. The driver unloads, the card terminal comes out, and the $110 quoted the night before is the $110 tapped — the trip's only transaction.
Homecomings run the same script in reverse, with one addition: dispatch follows the flight number from departure, so the car's arrival time is pegged to the plane's — not to a guess made yesterday.
What the ride costs
Five zones cover the town, priced $100 to $115. The number has HST inside it, holds at every hour, and repeats exactly on the return leg; riders who request the optional 407 ETR routing pay its toll on top, passed through at cost. Every street with an Ajax address
Coverage runs lakeshore to Taunton and creek to creek: the heritage blocks of Pickering Village, the grid around Ajax GO, the waterfront lanes near Rotary Park, the Rossland subdivisions, and the newest phases off Audley Road — including streets so new the map apps shrug at them. Three 401 interchanges (Westney, Harwood, Salem) plus the 412/407 connection up top mean no corner of town is more than a few minutes from a highway heading airport-ward.
When flights misbehave
Delays are the airline's problem, not yours. Because pickups are pinned to live YYZ arrival data, a plane that leaves late moves its own car later — automatically, with no phone call owed from your layover. Touchdown starts a full hour of included wait time for customs and baggage, and if a cancellation pushes past it, a text sorts out the new window at no cost.
Settling up
Payment happens once, at the destination: tap or insert Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Interac on the in-car terminal, or pay cash in Canadian dollars. Booking costs nothing up front. Frequent flyers and businesses running regular YYZ trips can ask about monthly invoicing.
